Monitoring vs Prediction
Scrunch raised $15M to build AI brand monitoring — tracking how often brands appear in AI-generated responses across platforms. It's a monitoring dashboard that tells you what already happened.
Tocho is a prediction engine. It tells you what's likely to happen — which AI platform will cite your content, and with what probability — before you publish.
How Scrunch Works
Scrunch queries AI platforms and tracks brand mentions over time. If you're a brand manager who needs to know "Did ChatGPT recommend us this week?", Scrunch provides that data.
The limitation: by the time you see the data, the queries have already happened. If you weren't cited, there's nothing actionable in the moment.
How Tocho Works
Tocho analyzes your content across 8 dimensions (structure, extractability, authority, freshness, cognitive load, technical markup, topical depth, language quality) and runs it through an ensemble model trained on 12,000+ real citation events.
The output: a per-model citation probability. You know — before publishing — whether Perplexity is likely to cite you (maybe 65%) while ChatGPT probably won't (maybe 18%). That's actionable intelligence.
Language Support
Scrunch operates in English. Tocho supports English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French — with language-calibrated prediction weights for each. Content that performs well in Portuguese GEO has different characteristics than English GEO. Tocho's model accounts for this.
